Deciding to write Family story

I have been told for years that I should write my family story. I have thought about it for years and decided to try it.
I thought about publishing through a book publisher but after lots of thought about having to write and rewrite to get it the way a publisher would like I thought better. I want it to be as if I were telling a story about a family that was not perfect in anyway and the story told the same way.
You and I sitting here, reminiscing about the history of my family and how we came to be and all the tribulations and turmoil of a time gone by to the present.
If you like it you will come back for more and if you don't well thank you for your interest and your time.
For those of you that come back I hope our story will keep you captivated.
I'm sure I will have some dates and memories wrong since they were told to me by people that have since passed on and I can't go back and verify. So with the best of my ability I will tell our story and will do it justice.
